A sought-after Coneflower with clumps of long-lasting golden-yellow flowers with dark centres from late summer into autumn. Plants look best in groups in a border, growing to a height of 60 - 100cm and are good for late summer colour. They are taller than the more common Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ and better for growing in prairie-style gardens grown alongside plants such as grasses and asters. They are good cut flowers. Plants have the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Deam’s Coneflower grows best in full sun to part shade and most soils, from sandy to clay. They have a good branched form with sturdy stems. Plants attract butterflies and other pollinators into the garden.
Pack of 20 seeds. Sow spring to summer indoors in a tray of seed compost, or sow in autumn in a seed tray with a clear lid, leave outside and seeds start to germinate in the spring. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
