A striking plant with glossy dark green wavy edged leaves, producing wonderful large white flowers in May and June. The Arum Lily comes from South Africa and has been grown in the UK since the 17th century. Beautiful in the garden and also a long lasting, lightly scented cut flower.
Arum Lilies grow well in damp moist conditions (such as pond side) to a height of 60 -100 cm. They tolerate drained conditions, but keep in partial shade if there is no permanent water. Can be left outside in winter in warmer gardens, but you need to mulch well to protect against hard frosts. Some gardeners prefer to lift the rhizomes in winter and replant in spring.
Pack of 10 seeds. Sow in spring to autumn. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
