Orlaya is a great plant for a wildlife or cutflower garden. The plants have fragrant white umbrel-shaped flowers on stems about 60-80cm tall. The flowers are surrounded by lacy fern-like leaves. They blend beautifully into both informal and Mediterranean gardens, where the plants come from originally. The flowers and the leaves are good for cutting, with a long vase life. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Orlaya grows best in a sunny position and fertile well drained soil. The plants attract lots of pollinators into the garden. Plants self-seed and appear again year after year.
Pack of 30 seeds. Sow seeds indoors in late summer/autumn or spring, or sow directly into the ground in in late summer/autumn. Germination can be erratic, so sow more seeds than you need. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
