Chinese Silver Grass is a tall and attractive ornamental grass. Plants grow into upright clumps with tall plumes of flowers in late summer and autumn. Plumes vary in shades of silver to pale pink. Some are upright and others bend gracefully in the wind. These are tall plants with plumes from 2 - 2.5m in height. They look good grown singly in larger borders or pots. They are excellent plants for winter interest.
These grasses grow best in full to part sun and moist but well-drained soils.
Pack of approx 50 seeds. Sow the seeds in spring or autumn. Germination is erratic, so sow more than you need. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
