An attractive mix of giant Barberton Daisies, with lots of colourful flowers from June to September.    Flowers come out in a mix of rose, yellow, white and red shades, and grow to a height of 50-60cm, sitting on tall strong stems.  These are great plants for the front of borders and pots. They make good house and conservatory plants and are wonderful cut flowers.

Barberton Daisies grow best in full sun to part shade and moist humus-rich well drained soil.  They are frost tender, so grow as annuals or protect in a heated greenhouse or conservatory (with a temperature of at least 4°C) over winter and keep as perennials.

Pack of 50 seeds.  Sow in spring for growing as annuals, or spring to autumn for growing as a perennial.   Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.

Flowers June to September
Height 50 - 60cm
Spread 30 - 45cm
Conditions  Full sun to part shade and humus-rich well-drained soil
Sow

Sow seeds on the surface of trays or pots of moist seed compost.  Press the seed slightly into the compost, and place a clear plastic cover over the tray or pot.  Keep at 20-25°C and do not exclude light, which is needed for germination. Germination takes 2-4 weeks.   Pot on young seedlings when they are big enough to handle.  Plant out after the last frost.

Grow Keep plants well watered.  Provide a regular liquid feed during flowering for plants grown in pots.  Plants are normally killed off by frosts.  Bring plants indoors in autumn and they will survive for many years.  Or sow again in the spring for more plants.
