The original form of Angel’s Fishing Rod with tall arching stems of pink flowers in July and August. Flower stems grow up to 1.5m in height, and sit above smaller grass-like leaves. Looks great in borders, gravel gardens and mixed with ornamental grasses. These seeds come from open pollinated flowers grown in Cornwall and there may be some variation in flower colour and form, with the possibility of some darker pink to red flowers.
Dierama pulcherrimum grows best in sun in a relatively sheltered spot and rich, free-draining soil.
Pack of 30 seeds. Sow anytime, at room temperature and in diffuse light. Germination takes 1-3 months and can be erratic so sow more than you need. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
Grown in Cornwall.
