Albuca shawii / Summer Flowering Bulb / Seeds

A graceful summer flowering plant with aniseed scented leaves and scented yellow lantern-shaped flowers in mid-summer from June to August.  Plants come originally from the Drakensberg mountains in South Africa and look good planted in groups in a rockery or gravel garden and in pots, growing to a height of 40cm.

Albuca shawii prefers a warm sheltered position and well-drained gritty soil.   In colder gardens in the UK, the bulbs should be lifted in autumn and replanted in spring.

Pack of 10 seeds.  Sow in spring to autumn.  Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
