A great ground cover plant. Bugle grows rosettes of glossy leaves and spikes of dark blue flowers in early summer, from May to June. These plants are mostly grown for their attractive year-round leaves, although the flowers are good too! They grow to a height of 10-15cm and spread up to 30cm. They form good ground cover for shade or semi-shade and for settling banks, as they spread into a mat of
leaves.
Plants grow best in semi-shade in most soils, including poor soils. They send out runners, which can be removed and grown on into new plants. They are generally untroubled by pests.
Pack of approx 50 seeds. Sow the seeds in spring or autumn. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
