Ageratums are long-flowering plants for the border and for cut flowers. Plants grow strong stems of true blue ‘pussy foot’ fluffy flowers from July to September. These bushy plants grow to a height of about 60cm and attract pollinators into the garden. The strong stems of this variety make it a good cut flower.
Ageratums grow best in a sunny position in moist but well drained soil. They are half hardy and need protecting from frost. They are traditional medicinal plants with potential anti-bacterial properties.
Pack of approx 2000 seeds. Sow the seeds indoors in spring, or directly in the ground outside in late spring after the risk of frost has past. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
